I gained creative control of the Charlotte branch of the Old Road Dinner Train during the summer of 2008. My first play written¬†specifically¬†for that venue was ‘Murder Aboard.’ Opening night was October 4, 2008.

It was quite the success and ran for months, until April 4 2009. I produced, directed, and acted in the play. Style-wise, it was a comedic murder mystery with plenty of improv (about 75% scripted, 25% improv.) The final scene was unscripted, and we relied heavily on audience participation.

I also created a company to manage the finances, called Aboard & Abroad Productions LLC.
